I am in the middle of a training course, will my progress be transitioned to the new platform?

All the existing content remains in the new ‘Intro to Sandbox’ course therefore you can re-do the Knowledge Check questions and Session Quizzes for repeated sections. And then complete the remainder of the course using the updated and easier to use platform.
The old platform will remain for a limited time after October 19th 2021 so you will have some time to complete the training if you need.

What languages can I study in the Learning Platform?
At the moment, you can enrol in the English language course or the French language course. The content of both courses is the same so we advise only selecting one. You will only receive a certificate for the course you completed.
Why do I need to log in to the Learning Platform?
Your user account tracks your progress towards a certificate. You can still view course content without an account but you cannot receive a certificate
What is happening to the old training site? Will I still be able to access it?
Users have 6 weeks to finish the old course, after which the assessment quiz links will be removed and users will be redirected learn.digitalearthafrica.org
How do I access the courses in the Learning Platform?
Register and sign in at learn.digitalearthafrica.org. You will need an internet connection and a valid email address.
