1.     Confirmation of your DE Africa Sandbox account

I can't login into my sandbox account because of account not being confirmed.

Once you write an email to DE Africa Help Desk Helpdesk@digitalearthafrica.org, DE Africa technical team will resolve this issue within 48 hours once your provide the exact email that you used in your sandbox registration and make sure that your sandbox is confirmed.

 

2.     Difficulty to open Sandbox log in page

Once you write to DE Africa help desk Helpdesk@digitalearthafrica.org,, Digital Earth Africa technical team will resolve the issue within 72 hours. Kindly provide the exact email that you used in your sandbox registration and DE Africa Technical team will contact you providing a status of the issue, whether you need to back up some files and which sandbox instance you are using (Default 16 Gb or 32 GB).

 

3.     Access different data using the WMS service

Digital Earth Africa (DE Africa) has provided guidelines on how to access DE Africa in your QGIS and ArcGIS Pro https://docs.digitalearthafrica.org/en/latest/platform_tools/web_services_gis.html The tutorials below cover: Setting up WMS, Adding WMS-T (time-supported) layers, Connecting to WCS and Connecting to WMTS. 4.     How do I access my certificate after completing the DE Africa online courses?

Kindly visit DE Africa online course https://learn.digitalearthafrica.org and explore the specific course. In the course, for example Introduction to Sandbox, and click on Progress and ensure you are viewing the course as the learner or an a specific email

When you view any of the courses as the learner of the course, you will see the Progress, click on it and it will show your progress including ways to view your certificate (if you have completed the course)

Now you can view your certificate and print or export as PDF. 

5.     My DE Africa sandbox server is empty?

DE Africa Sandbox user volume will be deleted due to inactivity for over three months, in line with DE Africa terms and conditions in the DE Africa user guide https://docs.digitalearthafrica.org/en/latest/sandbox/termsconditions.html

 

6.     Download GeoMAD images in Geotiff

7.     How can I get technical support and submit a use case request 

DE Africa end users can submit request for technical support on the DE Africa Training and Help wepage https://www.digitalearthafrica.org/platform-resources/training-and-help, technical support form here and use case support form here. DE Africa Science Team will proivde feedback within 72 hours to the end users.
